In January of 2008, we launched a strategic planning process for KU called Initiative 2015. Three task forces were created – Teaching and Learning, Discovery and Innovation, and Working for Kansas. During that spring, more than 60 faculty, staff and students from throughout the university met to discuss these key issues and draft recommendations for addressing them.
In April of 2008, the task force co-chairs submitted their reports to Chancellor Hemenway, Executive Vice Chancellor Barbara Atkinson and Provost/Executive Vice Chancellor Richard Lariviere. Those documents are available below along with a narrative summary that groups the recommendations by theme.
